Child Development

Understanding how children develop is important background context for early years practitioners. This module consists of eight separate courses, each around 30 minutes long, with multiple choice questions to check understanding. The topic areas cover pregnancy and childbirth, nutrition, keeping children safe and healthy and the different aspects of development: physical, cognitive, emotional, social and intellectual.

The training has been devised by Jill Johnson BA (Hons) QTS, EYP, British nursery group owner and international early education consultant.
